Vibrating Conveyors Operate in Corrosive, Severe-Duty Environment Handling Wet, Difficult-To-Convey Material
Jeffersonville, Indiana - Carman Industries Vibrating Conveyors are operating in fiber glass reinforcement facilities collecting, dewatering, and transferring fiber glass scrap to a reclaim facility. A total of eleven conveyors are located on elevated structures in a very wet, corrosive atmosphere.
Features of these specially designed vibrating conveyors include corrosion-resistant powder coated natural frequency steel coil drive spring system, 304 stainless steel trough, inclined dewatering ramps with drains, corrosion-resistant rubber isolation springs and an epoxy paint system. The rubber piston drive maintains positive stroke under varying product loads. Longstroke operation and 45 degree attack angle reliably conveys the wet, stringy fiber glass scrap product. Counter-balanced equipment eliminates the transmission of vibrations to sensitive production and control equipment.
Each conveyor was completely assembled and dynamically tested prior to shipment. Lifting lugs and isolation spring mounting plates are included to reduce the cost of installation.
Carman Industries manufactures the most complete line of vibratory material handling and process equipment in the industry including Feeders, Bin Dischargers, Conveyors, Fluid Bed Processors, Drawdown Hoppers and Spiral Elevators.
